Our pre-cast concrete system is a stand-out feature of a new hotel being developed on behalf of the management of EMM Convention Centre in Sibasa, Limpopo.
The professional team also comprises Paragon Architects and VBL Consulting Engineers, which introduced the property developer to our system to build a modern hotel that is also durable.
There are a number of stand-out features of the system that we designed and manufactured for this project, including the 840 square metres of pre-cast concrete wall panels around the building that make up its striking façade.
Accuracies and tolerances of between two millimetres and three millimetres on the features and dimensions of the wall panels and coping were achieved by our installation teams on this site.
These are manufactured from a self-compacting concrete mix that was designed by our own teams to provide an aesthetically-appealing finish and more durable end product of between 80 MPa and 94 MPa.
Another highlight of the project is the continuous pre-cast concrete columns towering over the site, extending all the way from ground level to the roof of the hotel, and varying between 60 MPa and 70 MPa.
